10 Tips to Save Battery Life on New iPhone 4S
A lot of people are rating the new iPhone 4s due to it’s new features, superb Siri, icloud for back your device data, a new look and feel of iOS 5 and outclass picture quality of the 8MP camera.
There are lot of people who are not satisfied with the battery life of iPhone 4s because they expectation are more, this is because users who gone through iPhone 4 might have faced battery life problem.
Here are the few steps that will help to get good batter timing.
Note: these tips are bit extreme, so you need to turn off every setting to get decent battery life.
1. Turn off Location Services
Most if the Apps now a day’s uses your location in some extend, which means GPS is ON. Just open up the Settings app, and select Location Services. Keep in mind that if you turn off all location services, you’ll lose the ability to use Find My iPhone. So you may want to shut apps off individually and leave that one running.
2. Turn Wi-Fi-OFF
This also means a lot of losing the battery when Wi-Fi is ON it means you are losing the battery in another way, if you are connected to come network it will use less but if not it will remain searching for some network which will use more power. Turn it OFF from the setting option.
3. Turn Bluetooth OFF
Another way of losing you cell phone power is Bluetooth ON. Even though the iPhone 4S uses low-powered Bluetooth 4.0, but it also uses some power. Turn it off by launching the Settings app, selecting General, and then Bluetooth.
4. Shut off Push data
Every new mail automatically showed to you in a different look,but it also cosume some of the battery power. Turn it OFF form Settings, selecting Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and then Fetch New Data.
5. Turn off Vibration
If you use your phone more frequently for calling, massaging or alerts so it means your device will vibrate more. If you turn it off you will definitely save a lot of power, just turn it OFF from Settings app, and select Sounds.
6. Make sure Auto-Brightness is on
Auto-Brightness feature allow you to adjust display’s brightness according to need of the environment. You just go to setting>Brightness>Auto brightness to on or off the feature.
7. Make sure Auto-Lock is on 1 Minute
Make sure the default Auto-Lock is set to one minute .The more the time more it will use power, Adjust this in the Settings app by selecting General, and then Auto-Lock.
8. Turn off Cellular Data
If you are getting poor call reception at your home or place of business, just try turning off the Cellular Data if you don’t need it, because if it search it will drain more battery Turn it off in Settings by selecting General, and then Network.
9. Turn the Equalizer off
iPhone music app has an EQ feature that helps you adjust the sound output as you require, you may not know how these drain your battery. Switch this off by going to Settings, tapping on Music and then EQ.
10. if All doesn’t works for you then Try Restore
Restoring your iPhone 4S can work wonders or in case of any data problem or setting erase can cause your battery to drain. So you have to connect your iPhone to your computer for restore and make sure you have est up as a new device.
