TNW reports that iPhone 4S has just launched in Brazil with the double the cost of phone in the united states. After gone through chart you can see that the 64GB iPhone 4S costs $1830 USD in brazil which is twice the price of same capacity in U.S which is $849.
The high cost is examined by iG Economia which shows that the price is high due to 46.76% taxes.
iPhone 4S pricing is more reasonable in Chile as compared to Brazil but a 64GB iPhone 4S will still cost about US$1425 through Vivo.
