Apple released iOS 5.0.1 beta for developers with the fixes of few bugs and battery problem that are reported few week ago. If you are on a jailbroken device and don’t want to go for update of beta firmaware, so here is a good news for you.
According to MuscleNerd (Dev Team member) the new version of RedSn0w can jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 beta….
Those who are interested in updating their jailbroken device to iOS 5.0.1 beta they need to do use RedSn0w 0.9.9 beta 7 and point it to the iOS 5 IPSW, not iOS 5.0.1 beta. We expect the Dec Team will updated RedSn0w as soon before the release of iOS 5.0.1 comes out of beta and available to general public.
This jailbreak is tethered one and semi tether is also available and not compatible to iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
