Samsung has launched ST5000 and ST5500 digital pocket cameras
Samsung has launched two new shiny and colorful digital cameras in Korea. At first look, the ST5000 and ST5500 might look like something that you just not like to stick with, but both of these ultra-compact digital cameras are fairly capable of some fine photo shooting.
Both of these new cameras are equipped with 14.2-megapixel sensors, 7x optical zoom and can record 720p HD video clips at 30fps in H.264 format. Also both devices have HDMI output to connect to television.
These pocket cams differ from other previous cams. ST5500 has a unique feature, it have built in Wi-Fi thus making photo and video sharing much easier than before. It also has a 3.7 inch AMOLED display whereas ST5000 only features a 3.5 inch touchscreen.
Both the cameras are fairly priced. The ST5000 started selling at £279.99 ($418) and for the ST5500 the price jumps to £349.99 ($523) mainly due to its unique feature.
For Europe, Samsung will be releasing both of the super slim cameras in April. But unfortunately for U.S people there’s no info on U.S release available yet.
