Iphone Dev Team is warning users who are hoping of using userland jailbreak for the ipad, iphone or ipad not to update to iTunes 9.1.1 if they want the UL jailbreak to work.
“Today’s 9.1.1 iTunes is safe for PwnageTool&redsn0w. But those hoping to use userland JBs (like Spirit) should hold off.
In general, those using *any* userland JB should avoid iTunes updates, since iTunes can detect & remove it.”
‘Spirit’ Userland jailbreak by comex will be the first one to jailbreak the ipad. Whereas Spirit also had provided an unthethered jailbreak for the iphone 3GS and ipod touch.
